Manage your subscription, billing, and cancellation

Subscription Plans

Available Plans

Tinker Tone offers flexible pricing plans to suit your needs:

Free Trial

14-day free trial with access to most features, including team profiles, reply assist, and thread summarization. No credit card required.

Starter Plan — $15/month

Perfect for solo professionals. Includes 3 voice profiles, 750 rewrites/month, BYOK option, and Outlook/Teams integration. Overage packs available.

Team Plan — $25/user/month

For teams of 5+. 1,500 rewrites/month per user, shared profiles, reply generation, thread summarization, and email support. Overage packs available.

Business Plan — $35/user/month

For organizations. 2,000 rewrites/month per user, unlimited profiles, SSO, BYOK encryption, audit logging, and priority support. Overage packs available.

Enterprise Plan — Custom

Custom solutions for large organizations. Includes negotiable rewrite limits, SSO, BYOK, dedicated support, and SLA guarantees.

Rewrite Packs (Overage)

Need More Rewrites?

If your team exceeds the monthly rewrite limit included in your plan, you can purchase additional rewrite packs. These packs carry over indefinitely until used — they never expire.

100 Rewrites — $4.00

$0.04 per rewrite. Great for occasional extra usage.

500 Rewrites — $17.50

$0.035 per rewrite. Best value for growing teams.

1,000 Rewrites — $30.00

$0.03 per rewrite. Lowest per-rewrite cost.

How It Works

  1. Your team uses rewrites from the monthly base limit first
  2. When the base limit is reached, rewrites draw from your overage balance
  3. When the balance runs low, your owner can purchase more packs
  4. Unused rewrites carry over month-to-month — they never expire

Auto-Purchase

Team owners can enable auto-purchase to automatically buy a rewrite pack when the overage balance drops below a configurable threshold. This ensures your team is never blocked by running out of rewrites.

Note: Only team owners can purchase rewrite packs and configure auto-purchase settings. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) tenants are exempt from rewrite limits since they use their own API keys.

Managing Your Subscription

Updating Your Plan

  1. Log in to your Tinker Tone account
  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Change Plan"
  4. Select your new plan
  5. Confirm the change

Upgrading: When you upgrade, you'll be charged the prorated difference immediately and your billing cycle will continue as normal.

Downgrading: When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep access to your current plan features until then.

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Payment Method"
  3. Click "Add Payment Method" or "Update"
  4. Enter your new card details
  5. Click "Save"

Viewing Invoices

All your invoices are available in the Billing section:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Scroll to "Billing History"
  3. Click "Download" next to any invoice to save a PDF copy

Canceling Your Subscription

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Tinker Tone account at tinkertone.app
  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing
  3. Scroll to "Subscription Management"
  4. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  5. Select a reason for canceling (optional but helpful)
  6. Click "Confirm Cancellation"

Important Information:

  • You'll retain access to Tinker Tone until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Immediate: Your subscription is marked for cancellation
  • End of billing period: Access to Tinker Tone features is disabled
  • 30 days after: Your voice profiles and settings are deleted
  • 90 days after: All your data is permanently removed from our systems

Reactivating Your Subscription

Changed your mind? You can reactivate your subscription:

  1. Log in to your Tinker Tone account
  2. Go to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Reactivate Subscription"
  4. Confirm your payment method
  5. Click "Reactivate"

Note: If you reactivate within 30 days, all your voice profiles and settings will be restored. After 30 days, you'll need to set up your profiles again.

Billing Issues & Support

Common Billing Issues

Payment Failed

If your payment fails, we'll send you an email notification. Update your payment method within 7 days to avoid service interruption.

Unexpected Charges

Check your billing history for details. If you believe there's an error, contact support with your invoice number.

Refund Requests

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact support within 14 days of the charge with details about your situation.

Tax Questions

Tax rates are calculated based on your billing address. For tax exemption, contact support with your exemption certificate.
